Maize Escalloped

1. 1 cup maize.                                                          4. 2 eggs.
2. 1 1/2 tablespoon butter.                                        5. 2 cups milk.
3. Salt and pepper.

Cook cobs and remove grains when cooked. Beat eggs and milk. Add butter, pepper and salt. Mix with cooked grains, place in a buttered pie dish and bake in a moderate oven till set and brown.
